I love linking up with Tara's "Monday Made It," at 4th Grade Frolics. :)
"Multiplication Beach Ball POP!"
I changed their version a little, and made my own version. It suggested that kids use a pencil to poke through the correct hole on the multiplication cards, and flip the card over to see if their answer was right; But I decorated some Chop Sticks I bought from the Dollar Tree, and I am calling them "Beach Ball POPPING" sticks.
I like the idea of having them POP the beach ball and be the ultimate Beach Ball POPPING Winner! I typed up my own rules for the game as well, and have a round container to store the multiplication cards inside, and a pencil box that I decorated to hold the "Beach Ball POPPING" sticks.
I love how it all turned out. I am looking forward to my 4th graders playing it in a small group, or individually. Feel free to share this idea; and if you make a set for your class I would LOVE to see how yours turns out. :)
I love what you did with the duct tape. Thanks for stopping by my blog and telling me to check out what you did with the same tape. Now you have got my brain thinking....I might have to go back and buy some more. I could use it on many other things in my classroom.
ReplyDeleteThanks,
Ann
I love my clip boards! I had enough of the duct tape to cover the backs of them, and also use it for other things, like the pencil box. I will be back to visit your blog and see what other great things you come up with. Have a great rest of your day.

Thank you Tara. Sounds like you had a great vacation, except for the sunburned back. You are such an inspiration to me as a new blogger; you always comment and write back to everyone. It is appreciated. :)
