"Homeworkopoly" Game Pieces...

Friday, July 6, 2012
I love the "Homeworkopoly" Game that I found on Kristen's blog at Ladybug's Teacher Files.  Thanks Kristen!

Here is another site to learn about the rules and download the game board: teachernet.com

First, I put the game board on black cardstock and laminated it.  I put magnets on the back of each piece, because I plan to put it up on the end of my white board.

I will cover a portion of the white board with paper and a cute bulletin board edge; then assemble the Homeworkopoly Game board on top of that.

I bought two white magnetic bins to keep the cards in, and attached one of the cards to the outside, so kids knew which bin to place the cards back inside.

I also made up small cards with beach-y stickers for the kids' game pieces.  (My classroom is all in a beach theme.)  I am attaching magnets to each of those too, so my 4th graders can move their game piece from space to space easily.

I can't wait to get into my classroom to hang up all of the things I put together.  I think they will have so much fun with this Game!
